TONO’s 2024 Financial Results: Record Distributions to Norwegian Creators

Norwegian songwriters, composers and music publishers received a record NOK 374.8 million (EUR 31.78 million) in copyright royalties from TONO in 2024. In total, TONO distributed NOK 741.7 million (EUR 62.88 million) to rights holders in Norway and abroad.

For the first time, streaming was the largest source of revenue for the collective rights management society, and the Norwegian music industry can celebrate the fact that TONO’s repertoire was exported as never before in 2023.
